        Devoted to the collection, protection, study, education, investigation, Pinghu Museum which is a public welfare institutions is the most comprehensive museum on topology, it was founded in 1958. The new building of museum as one solid item of Municipality was estabilished in 1999, it is located in danghu town and covers an area of 5000 sq.m, the building area of 4900 sq.m which composed of main building and office building.The main building is made up of historical relic storeroom, multifunctional exhibition hall, academic report hall.Inside the museum,there are two fixed permanent display of "Pinghu Heritage Sites" and "Painting display".
Pinghu museum have rich collection of historic relic including 16 sorts and nearly ten thousands pieces, such as stone artifacts, pottery, porcelains, copper ware,calligraphy and painting. there are more than 2000 pieces which belong to national precious historic relic, for example, Louspeaker Shaped Pod with a Circle Foot belonged to Majiabang Culture in the Neolithic Age(6000 years ago),Long Hollow Pieces of Jade with Rectangular Slides, Gilt Brass Buddha Head dated from Tang dynasty, Rhinoceros Hom Cup dated from Ming Dynasty, they are all very valuable. Especially, the collection of latter-day calligraphy and painting such as Hanging Scroll of Running Hand Calligraphy by Wen Zhengming in Ming Dynasty, Hanging Scroll of a Figure Painting by Hua Yan in Qing Dynasty,Hanging Scroll of Landscape Painting by Zhang Daqian in Modern times and the works by Wu Cangshuo, Ren Yi which are too many quantity and high quality, they are a major feature of Pinghu City.

Long Hollow Pieces of JadeStone Knife with a Tilted Handle liangzhu Culture in the Neolithic Age
　　collected from DaiMuDun Site in july,1975. It is 4.1 centimeter high, 5.1 centimeter width in diameter, 6.3-6.6 cemtimeter in , light turquoise,glittering and translucent,lenitive, low columned, rounded inside, quadrate outside, no joint. there are figure of god-man face in a corner, deep rings are eyes, amall triangles both side are canthus, flat quadrate protuberance is nose. Two long raised arris with detailed lines stand for crista, regular facture and refined polishing are scarce in Liangzhu culture Long Hollow Pieces of Jade with Rectangular Slides.

Miao Fa Lian Hua scripture which was inscribed in gold powder by Zheng He Ming Dynasty (1432 AD)

　　It was green paper edition and regular script in gold powder which was 10.1 centimeters wide, 4030 centimeters long and was made of 41 pieces scroll that was 1 meters long. It was discovered in Baoben tower on September 11, 2002 and had a wood cylinder outside. The contents had “the chart of She Li tower “,”brand of Yun Long lotus flower”, “the chart of Buddha parlance”, brand of veins, then become the twenty-eighth article of seventh roll in the scripture which was about 7000 characters and the God of safeguard law man.

　　The works was kept whole and was written in gold powder which had bright luster, slap-up material, regular calligraphy and beautiful letterform. So long scripture which was discovered at home was peculiar and it was national first-class Culture Relic now. 　　　　　　　Video1，Video 2
